PROFILE OF MALAUMKARTA VILLAGE

Malaumkarta is a village in Nort Coast part of Sorong Regency. West Papua Province . The distance of this village its about 48 Km and 2 hours trip with public transport (local transport) from Sorong city. Maumkarta village inhabited by Moi tribe and the population of inhabitant are 321 people/85 houses.

With the regional boundary is Westside with Kuadas village, Eastside with Asbaken Village , Southside with Klayili Village and Nort side with Raja Ampat islands sea.The villagers are friendly and polite here.

The natural potentials in this village are various that is from Sea to Land ( Forest ), especially EcoTourism Potential Resources.

- And also UM ISLAND its small island with thousands of Bats and some of birds like kingfisher, tree swallow, osprey, Common Moorhen, Bald Eagle and others. This island located in front of malaumkarta village, its about 1 kilometre.
